As a data controller under GDPR regarding the data of the recipients of email sent through our services, the user must comply with data deletion requests from such recipients without undue delay. Mailtrack provides various options to assist the user in deleting recipients´ data.
If you are a Mailtrack´s user, here’s how Mailtrack assists you in fulfilling this duty:
- Access Mailtrack Dashboard: Log in to your Mailtrack account and navigate to the Mailtrack Dashboard.
- Go to the Contacts Section: In the dashboard, find and click on the "Contacts" section. This section lists all your email recipients and their associated data.
- Select the Recipient: Browse or search for the recipient whose data you wish to delete. Select the recipient from the list.
- Navigate to the Profile Area: Once you have selected the recipient, go to the "Profile" area. This section provides detailed information about the recipient, including their consent status or legal basis, and data privacy settings.
- Select Privacy Management: In the "Profile" area, you will find the "Privacy Management" option.
- Select the option "Delete all recipient data stored at Mailtrack." Confirm the deletion when prompted. After confirming, the recipient´s data will be deleted. You may receive a confirmation message indicating that the deletion process is complete.
An alternative process to delete recipient´s data is to access the "Settings and Privacy" menu, select the "Privacy" area, and then choose "Manage your recipients' data and consent status."
In the pop-up window write the email of the recipient you want to manage and follow the instructions to delete all data or unsubscribe from your emails.
You can also delete individual emails data manually using the "Delete email data" option in the Mailtrack Dashboard
