There are two versions of Mailtrack for Gmail: The Mailtrack Chrome extension and Mailtrack add-on. Both are great but there are some subtle differences between the two that you need to know about.
The Mailtrack Chrome extension works on your computer.
Browser extensions are small applications that add features to browsers/websites.
This is what the Mailtrack Chrome extension does. It enhances and adds features to your computer's Chrome browser. And Gmail.com of course!
These are just some of the features that the extension adds to Gmail for desktop:
- Mailtrack revival: Know if someone's showing interest again in your old emails and quickly take action.
- Mailtrack Monitor Reply: it helps you to keep on top of your email communications by advising you when someone hasn't replied to your emails.
- Mailtrack reminders: Get email alerts if the recipient hasn't opened your email in the last 24h or 48h.
- Mailtrack Hot Conversations: If your email has been opened a lot over a short period of time, we'll let you know. Something may have sparked their interest, or they may have forwarded your message.
Not installed the Mailtrack browser extension yet? Download it now from the Chrome web store.
The Mailtrack add-on works on your smartphone.
Chrome browser extensions aren't supported on Chrome for Android/iOS. That's why we developed the Mailtrack mobile add-on for Gmail.
The Mailtrack add-on doesn't have as many features as the Mailtrack extension. But it does let you send tracked emails on the go.
The Mailtrack add-on adds to the Gmail app on your phone. There's no need to install another app, it works inside the Gmail app that you know and love!
