How is Email Productivity data calculated?
Emails sent
We count the number of emails sent on a per-email basis.
With campaigns, each recipient receives an individual copy of the campaign message. So, the email count will be the same as the number of contacts you sent the campaign to. For example, if you send a campaign to 10 contacts the campaign will be counted as 10 sent emails.
If you send a multi-recipient email that's not a campaign then only one copy of the email will be sent. So, this will be counted as one sent email.
Tracked links and links clicked
The number of tracked links is the number of emails that include at least one tracked link.
We count link clicks based on how many emails have had at least one link clicked on. Many clicks on the same link or clicks on more than one link aren't included in the count.
Tracked PDFs and PDFs viewed
The number of tracked PDFs is the number of emails that include at least one tracked PDF.
We count PDF views based on how many emails have had at least one PDF view. Many views of the same PDF or views of more than one PDF aren't included in the count.
When you send your messages
The graph is generated based on when you've sent tracked emails. The more emails you send in a particular time block the darker the square is in the graph for that time block.
Messages sent per day
The graph is generated based on the number of emails sent per day on a per-email basis.
Time until first open
The graph is generated based on when your emails are being opened for the first time.
