Mailtrack Campaigns won't send campaign mails to unsubscribed or undeliverable (bounced) email addresses.
This will help you avoid email deliverability issues.
What is an unsubscribe?
An unsubscribe is when a mail recipient opts out of receiving any more emails from you.
Mailtrack gives you the option to add an unsubscribe link to your campaigns. So, a recipient can choose to opt-out of receiving more emails.
What is a bounce?
A bounce is when an email can't be delivered to a recipient's mailbox.
There are two types of bounces:
- Soft bounces. These are usually temporary. They occur when the recipient's mailbox is full, a server is down, the email is too large, or something similar.
- Hard bounces. These are more permanent. They are generated by sending to an email address or domain that doesn't exist.
Mailtrack won't send campaign mails to email addresses that have hard-bounced. But we'll still try to send emails to email accounts that have soft-bounced.
